What to Expect at Your Initial Appointment

As a new patient, you will undergo an evaluation by a licensed physician who specializes in medical marijuana evaluations. Patients are encouraged to bring copies of relevant medical records to their appointment if such records are available.

If the physician determines that you may be a candidate for medical marijuana, he/she will discuss the risks and benefits of the medical use of marijuana with you so that you may make an informed decision about your treatment options. We believe that an informed and knowledgeable patient can make the best decisions regarding their own health care and our physicians and staff will take the time to ensure that all of your questions are answered.

If, after your medical evaluation, the physician determines that you are a candidate for the medical use of marijuana and you elect to proceed with this treatment option, the physician will provide you with written documentation of your examination, diagnosis and recommendation that you may benefit from the use of medical marijuana.

What Happens After Your Appointment (How do I become Legal?)

If our doctors recommend medical marijuana for you, our staff will assist you with the state Medical Marijuana Registry Application forms, and provide you with detailed instructions on how to send your paperwork to the registry for processing.  They will explain the steps in the process so that you can become legal and begin obtaining medication quickly.
